Indianapolis IN, Evelyn Magley CEO of The Basketball League announced a new market has been awarded to Long Beach California.
The new team is called the Long Beach Bluewave and will play in Long Beach Community College.
The Bluewave join teams in San Diego, Los Angeles, Bakersfield and San Jose in California as well as Salem Oregon and Seattle, Wenatchee and Vancouver Washington in the West Conference.

The Basketball League begins season 6 in March with 50 teams in the United States and 3 teams in Canada as well as a partnership to play games with the NBL Canada.
