The Bluewaves is a professional basketball team located in Long Beach, CA. We’re the newest team in the five-year-old The Basketball League (TBL) which has more than 40 teams across the country.

The Bluewaves is committed to providing a top-notch professional experience for players, fans, the community, our sponsors and business partners.

Our goal is to improve every player’s skills and marketability each season by focusing on both the physical and mental aspects of the game. We will collaborate with the players to set achievable goals. The desired result is that each player’s improvement will provide them with the tools for success on-and-off the court.

Being part of a team is demanding and time consuming for all involved. We stress the importance of faith, family and service.

Community service is one of our main priorities, and the foundation of our mission. Having a strong community connection is vital to our success as an organization. Our players understand the importance of participating in community-based programs and services. They are encouraged to volunteer their time to help cultivate successful community and organization partnerships.

The ultimate goal is for the Bluewaves to challenge for a championship every year, as well as preparing our players for future basketball opportunities in the G League, NBA and around the world.
